Join us at the Howlin' Wolf in New Orleans on Thursday, April 21st for our 4th Annual "A Party for Patti" in memory of and in celebration of the life of BSR co-founder Patti Samuels. This year features the unbelievable talents of Grammy Nominee and Billboard Music Award Winner LOS HOMBRES CALIENTES: IRVIN MAYFIELD & BILL SUMMERS and of W.C. Handy Nominee JON CLEARY and the ABSOLUTE MONSTER GENTLEMEN, plus special guests. Both HENRY BUTLER and JON CLEARY have been named nominees for the W.C.Handy Award for Best Keyboardist to be presented in Memphis on May 5, 2005. This is Henry's 5th nomination and Jon's first.

The documentary Jazz Dreams, featuring Irvin Mayfield, Jason Marsalis and Los Hombres Calientes will air on BET Jazz during the month of April 2005, which is their "Jazz Appreciation Month."

This documentary was produced by Geoff Poister. It follows the careers of Irvin, Jason and Los Hombres from 1998 until about 2003. Don't miss it.
