Celebrating National Poetry Day 2008

PoetryFilm returns to Cardiff! After successful screenings at Tate
Britain, Saatchi & Saatchi, Glastonbury, and the Cannes Film Festival,
PoetryFilm now takes on BayLit.

Experimental film and performance combined with live readings from
Lois Barrar, Rhys Iorwerth, Iwan Rhys, Tiffany Atkinson, Richard
Marggraf Turley and Anna Lewis. Followed by live music from Jamie and
the Lionhearts and Derwyddon Dr Gonzo. At The Point, Cardiff Bay, 7.30
pm. Tickets: £8.00 / £6.00.

PoetryFilm organises the UK's only regular PoetryFilm screenings, celebrating
experimental films based on poems, poems turned into films, text-based
films, and poet-filmmaker collaborations. The films shown at BayLit
represent a varied selection from the PoetryFilm archive, the only
