LOTS MORE POETRY FROM AGNES
Hi gang,
Just a real quickie to underline some of the other fantastic poetry events I’m involved with over the next couple of weeks, all of which are fabulous and exciting….
Do read each listing carefully, as during my recent mailout I made a real pig’s ear of dates, so despite three attempts I still got dates wrong in some cases. Any dates that are listed below are correct (honest), so do head on down to one or all of them… you’ll have a brilliant time, and that’s not a mistake.
1. Wednesday October 15th – Poetry @ L’Osteria – BOOK LAUNCH
Exceptional poet
PLUS I shall also be sharing some of my new work from my latest book “This One Is For You”, so it’s effectively a double launch.

2. Saturday 18th October – Literature Lounge Masterclass working alongside the unique
I will be delivering a writing/performance workshop - “Thinking Out of the Box” – guiding participants towards alternatives to the self-evident, and exploring how to get the best out of your writing by literally ‘thinking out of the box’.
3. Wednesday 22nd October 2, 2008 – Agnes Hosts @ The Corset Club
A 3-times-a-year event produced by Red on Black Productions and Hothouse – a mix of poetry, music, comedy, drama – all by women artists. Alongside feature slots there will also be new faces getting a short slot on the night. At the Cavendish Arms (

A free event at Whitechapel Gallery - 80-82 Whitechapel High St
Apples open mics are where the newcomers meet the seasoned performers on equal terms, and there’s the chance of being talent-spotted by some of London’s poetry impresarios. So arrive early to claim your all-important 5 minutes. Tonight’s host is Daniel Silverstein and there’ll be featured slots from Anwen Lewis and Kathryn O'Reilly.
