After having two of the writers we featured last year - Ken Kamoche and Sade Adeniran - on the short list, we are happy to congratulate Sade Adeniran, whose book Imagine This, won the Africa Region Prize for best first book. Sade joins a long list of past AWE features who have gone on to be published or win critical acclaim, including Diana Evans, Inua Ellams and Hisham Matar.
