Rules:
language: no more than five swear words per poet. none if there are children in the audience!
- time: all poets are expected to stick to the time they are given i.e. 6 minutes of open mike for "aromapoetry" and as agreed for featured persons at full flavour.
- open mike sign up: only 5 of the fifteen open mike slots can be pre-booked. you must arrive by 3:30pm to sign up for one of the other 10. to pre-book, e-mail aromapoetry@x-bout.com
- etiquette: as a courtesy to other poets, please come with your material prepared so that you don't have to rehearse your poems whilst another poet is on stage.
- applause: at aromapoetry we feed our poets applause to build their egos. please come prepared to clap, yell and holler!!
