The Poem: My Big Treasure

I got a stone in my shoes
I got a stone in my shoes
Nobody knows, nobody knows

I got to walk for miles
Miles up the road,
Miles down the road,
Miles up the road
But nobody knows, nobody knows

I got a stone in my shoes
I got a stone in my shoes
Nobody knows, nobody knows

It’s my little treasure
Which hurts my foot
And makes me limp
All the way up
But nobody knows, nobody knows

It’s my little treasure
That mum gave me
Three ten ps to buy some sweets
But nobody knows, nobody knows

It’s my little treasure
That mum gave me
So I hid it there
To escape the bullies
And nobody knows, nobody knows

How nice will it be
When I buy my lolly
Suck it up
All the way home
Nobody knows, nobody knows

I got a stone in my shoes
I got a stone in my shoes
Nobody knows, nobody knows
